I thought I might run a PM Research generator with a flat belt off the outside diameter of the flywheel . I run one of these generators with my pmr #3 engine and get good performance, but I think my PMR #3 is running greater than 1200 rpm at full steam.

Just measured, 1400 rpm w/o load. 3-phase generator direct (friction) driven. Sorry for the blurry picture.

I found somewhere apparently they run at 1200rpm!!

Ive looked & looked but cannot find any info on what revs the chinese horizontal hit
& miss engines run at I want to run a generator so I need to make a pulley from the crank to drive it the size will be dependant on the revs
