Interesting transmission, the way it is configured with the block base. Of course the base helps put the driving wheel at the right height. Nice.

That's certainly stronger and heavier than the stamping mills you see offered by Fleischmann and others. A friend of mine has my collection books, so Brent, was this offered by E.P. as a toy set? Like their praxinoscope, grinder,etc.?
