Looks better than new!

I really like the addition of a gauge and that you painted it red to match.

Looks fantastic Bruce (https://emoji.tapatalk-cdn.com/emoji482.png)

Have you done anything to the nickelplating, other than polishing?
Thanks Jan , no I just used Maas metal polish to bring it out nice & shiny.

You did a nice job on the restoration Bruce. I like the addition of the Pressure Gauge.

Could you provide details of how you mounted it?

What color and type of red paint did you use?
Its hard to say how close of a match this is to the original Charlie, but in this instance I wasn't concerned with that, here are pics  the paint can. re:how the gauge was done, I used one of my gauges (its 1/8 npt) the plug on the rear of my Empire b-30 seems to be 1/4"x20tpi , I had a little trepidation about it but in the end decided to cross thread it 1/4" x 40tpi , with a short 1/4" threaded stud ,(2) 1/4" 90 degree elbows, (1) 1/4" 1.5" long brass pipe threaded on each end , & my pressure gauge was turned from 1/8" npt to a 1/4" x 40 tpi stud (I have a special jig to hold the gauge)
