Thanks. I got mine sorted. Mine is on when flipped to the side without the governor weights. Runs great and
so far I'm pleased with the engine. I'm running it with Coleman fuel and Marvel oil mix. I've been running it for
what seems like a very long time on its first tank of fuel. I've already ordered a nice walnut base for it.

I have purchased 4 so far and two were one way the other two the opposite way. I turned two of the switches around so they were all the same.

Which way do you flip the switch to turn the ignition on on these engines?
Mine is the silver upgrade horizontal engine.
