maybe the FWC-1CI?
Yes I have been looking at it. Like Bruce said it's a bit larger than the original.
I have their 2020 catalog plus what's on line.
Thanks for the feedback Masonville.

Hi Tommy
I believe your pioneer and my Weeden 121 are identical engines, only the name changed. My flywheel is just under 5 1/16 at 5.052” and the width is just under 7/16 at .430” Unfortunately this flywheel isn’t for sale, just trying to help you identify the one you need. Good luck.
Thank you Mr. Tom for those dimensions. When Weeden bought out Edgar Side they used up all of the parts on hand which is why they are almost identical, almost. I see your's has the typical Weeden site glass, the Edgar had none. Your's is electric, first over type of this style from Weeden that I've seen with that, and the bearing caps are different. Other than that they made a beautiful engine didn't they. Much cleaner then what Weeden later put out. I have like three Weedens and when they set next to "Old Edgar", my eye's go right to him. Thank's again Mr. Tom.

Well Bruce when looking at the pictures and videos of the Pioneer and comparing it to my Weeden over types fly wheels, it bigger than their's.
I have a fly wheel from a Peerless that looks like the right diameter and thickness, just the wrong spokes. There's six spokes and they're "S" curved.
That being said it's 5 1/4" diameter and 7/16ths" thick at the rim.
Thanks, Tommy

It's easy to see that is a quality engine, I like it alot, good luck with finding the proper flywheel Tommy , do you know the dimensions ?

I purchased an Edgar Side "Pioneer" steam engine about six-seven years ago when I was on another forum. Got from another member back then and really love it. Problem is that it has the wrong fly wheel on it. Questioned the seller and was told that's what came on it when they got it. The manufacture was taken over by Weeden and bares a good likeness to the Weeden Over Type, only nicer. This isn't my video, I found it on You tube and I'm using it because it's there and I remember how to cut and paste. Please pay attention to the fly wheel, thank you.
