That's a sexy beast. Absolute perfection.
-
Nothing like taking on the simple, easy projects that can't be fouled up!
My mind boggles at the complexity of that build !!!
... and yes, it sounds just right.
-
George, that is perfection, plain and simple. Wonderful work.

when I think about the amount of work and skill that went into that George, it is staggering, thank you so much for sharing that with us.

George, I've seen your 302 in person at least a half dozen times and it never fails to capture my attention and leave me in awe of your skills.!
Thanks for sharing it here!

Love the sound of these 8) and they always turn heads at shows

It's scratch built Charlie. 1/3 scale, full pressure oiling, complete cooling through block, heads and intake manifold, electronic ignition with Hall trigger.
The block is aluminum with wet sleeves, the crank is ductile iron, the heads are iron with stainless valves, the intake is made from 2 pieces of brass and silver soldered together. The pistons are aluminum with 3 iron rings, 2 compression and 1 oil control ring.

What a great sound. Is this built from castings/kit or scratch built?
-
That’s a great engine, and I agree that it sounds superb.👍😊

This is a video taken by a good friend. It's probably the best one for sound.
