Congratulations on the sale Jack!
-
Can't complain.

900

And I'd say you got a good price, too.

The PM Research steam engine has been sold congratulations to the new owner.

Nice. Looking good

I don't know about its value, but I have a similar PM boiler, and it's a great piece of work.

My problem with large steam plants is the amount of real estate it takes up.
I would hate to see it pieced out, but there is a very limited marketplace for these.
Good luck!

So I have some questions on this Large PM research Power Plant, PM Boiler and Number #1 steam engine.
1) What do you think it's worth?
2) I can fix the brass pipes not that hard. (Does anyone have some PM piping they no longer need?)
3) What is involved in fixing the slight bend in the crank?
I bought this and good ole UPS smacked it around. No major damage but I'm tore to sell it and buy more Jensens or fix it.
What do you think.
It looks like someone spent a lot of time building it from castings. I really have no realistic idea of the value.
I actually thought it would be worth more piecing it out and selling everything separately. Thoughts are welcome!
