Great to see it running Doug.
Just to be clear, Doug sold me his Jensen 51 in a three way deal with Gil at the 2019 Cabin Fever.
The least I could do was pass this one along to Doug. And I got a high power generator to boot!
This is the best one I have seen. And there is another one on eBay of lesser quality now.
It runs great after Doug did his magic. 🤠

That’s the first one I’ve seen with a decal instead of the brass tag. Also, the positive battery terminal has either been modified by a previous owner or was made that way to fit the later batteries instead of being bent at a 90 degree angle for the earlier batteries like most you see.

Fantastic addition, congrats Doug !

Love the looks of that one Doug and really like how you can see the old battery inside 8)
Charlie is one of the best! I forgot to bid on a roller that I really wanted and found out he was the winner... after some trading I got the roller I wanted :)

I wasn't expecting this to arrive until tomorrow. It came all the way from Texas to Pennsylvania. This is an early solenoid engine that I regrettably missed on ebay a few weeks back. During a discussion with Charlie (TX Lab Man) at the recent Cabin Fever show, I discovered that he was the new owner of that engine. It had not even arrived at his house before he left for Cabin Fever, but he graciously offered it to me as part of a trade for a generator I had at the show. As soon as he returned home, he shipped it out to me. I have been looking for one of these for four or five years, ever since I saw the first one at a show, and they always bring more than I am willing to pay. So, I am very happy to have this 100-plus year old toy in my collection!
Thanks again, Charlie, for being willing to part with it!
