The resemblance is amazing!
Google tells me the original rounded-top baseball cap came out in 1860, I'm sure it looked nothing like this one... but I had to go back and edit out the logo as Caterpillar wasn't around for another 40 years and that logo not until 100+ years later :D

Was digging through some old family photo albums and found one of my great-great grandfather eyeing up a toy steam engine in a grocery store back in the 1880's
