It may just be the seal washer, the OFP can be snugged a bit tighter than the SV. Or it may be the SV top seal.
It is the same on all the steamco,s but I am not really worried about it.
They will run but this way uses less pressure on the air setup.

When we were test running it before the vid, the safety valve kept on releasing pressure before there was enough built up for the cylinder to run. Only way to get it to run was to swap them out for that vid. Otherwise it wouldnt run
Makes sense, maybe needs a new spring then... can't remember off hand if they're adjustable...

And the steamcos don't like to run with the SV in place on this setup, they are all the same hence the OFP in the SV hole.
Not sure I understand...?
I have fired mine with the SV in the correct place...

By the way, you've got the overflow plug where the safety valve goes ;) edit: oops, just seen you have them the right way in the picture :)
Probably won't be run on steam as it is an unfired engine.
We have others we can run on steam.
