Keith, hard to believe that was seven years ago, doesn't time fly!
You'll be celebrating the 90th in no time!
-
Thanks everyone!

Rog, yes i'm hoping to add a 70D to the collection at some point this year, i need to find out what Forest Classics would charge for one.
Gil, thanks i was never a fan of the salmon pink paint. I much preferred the older bare copper finish that Jensen did for awhile. I think black is much better on the hobby line engines as you get no scorch marks.

You have a very nice collection of Jensen engines.

A very nice collection of Jensens you have there Philip.
The addition of the Stars and Stripes flag is a very fitting finishing touch.
Nice to see.
-
a really nice matching array of Jensen's Philip, you have done them up nicely.

Philip, They look great!
I especially like the nice black paint work on the firebox and chimney.

Thats a great collection you got Phillip !
To see them all together; makes it easier for Jensen-amateures like me to see the differences between the models :-)
-
What an impressive collection of black firebox Jensens 8)
-
Phillip, great collection. So clean too :D
-
Phillip, that is a wonderful display. Hopefully a Jensen 70 flame fired unit is in your near future

Seems appropriate to share my collection of Jensen 'Hobby Line' dry fuel engines on the new forum. The photos are from several years ago, one of them taken at the J26 steam fair when i was celebrating Jensen's 80th anniversary. However i no longer have the full set as i need to add a model #70D to my collection to make it complete. I remember emailing Steve (Cedge) eight years ago asking why Jensen didn't offer the Model #70 as a dry fuel option alongside the electric one, it is nice to know they listened and have added it to the line alongside the reintroduced model #50.
