Hi Jim,
I would not recommend the first table you posted for ME threads... it has some glaring errors for tapping drill sizes for 7/32", 1/4" and 9/32" diameter threads.
One would not expect the tapping drill size for a 32tpi thread to be a larger drill than that required for a 40tpi thread.
The second and third tables posted are correct.
I thought I would bring your attention to it just in case someone copies the first one.
