Benny ... I must confess that I have always been deeply in love with 'Bières de la Meuse', even though at my rather advanced age, she is still way too old for me! But hey, the Radiguet is awfully nice too, yet alas and alack they are both of a similar age, so that it would likely be a futile gesture to attempt to plight my troth to either of them!

Still, that right there is most excellent eye candy, even for an old codger such as myself!!!

Thank you, much. That poster (I just can't bring myself to ever pay what an actual print would go for) has lived a varied life. It has a library tag on the back, and was available to borrow. I have been going to libraries my whole life, and I never knew you could borrow posters of art prints. Someone likely broke the rules and hung it with push pins, as there are pin holes in the corners.
But she definitely speaks to me, and when it was given to me I knew it would display perfectly with the Radiguet.

You have great taste in engines Benny  8)

I end the weekend with burnt and scorched fingers, one thumb with a blood blister, and the intense urge to steam something and not worry about filming it.

Haha it does make things easier!

Thanks, Nick! After all this is over, I will have to post up the outtakes. It was harder than I thought to shoot a short intro.

I would love to see the outtakes  ;) :D

Well now I'm ready for whatever it is that you want to throw at me here Doc Rev MacReady!

Looks like it's going to be a real treat  .....   just like some o' that Ol' Time Relig .... er, um Steam!?!?

Ok, ok...I'll get out my soapbox for a short minute...

https://youtu.be/YNmPamZelVQ

Well now Benny, while that video vignette is at least a bit entertaining, this stuff is all "Old Hat" to me, being well known as a notorious SLACer in my own right. But what I did with those Nuclear Isotopes and other Transcendental Materials back in the 60's is "nobody's business but my own"! That so much of it ended up available for public viewing like this does remain something of a mystery to me, but I suspect Alien intervention!! ;c)

I am the Eggman, I am the Walrus .... Koo Koo Ka Choo choo ....

Meanwhile, back at the Raunch .... Great Table you've spread for us here, and by the way, looks like your outdoor railroad continues apace, and I for one, look forward to a virtual ride over that long curving trestle along the lakeshore!!!

So, unless I am able to get the combined hour of footage of the Stuart from the clutches of my overtaxed phone memory, that will be all I have to offer. I end the weekend with burnt and scorched fingers, one thumb with a blood blister, and the intense urge to steam something and not worry about filming it. I hope you all have enjoyed it as much as I have.  It's been a hectic and exciting 2 days, and somehow I have added to my "List of Engines I MUST Have" while thoroughly enjoying each and every table.
Thanks to Gil and Simone for the opportunity to enjoy this event; to Nick, Daniel and all the mods for keeping it flowing well; to all the members and presenters; and to all the guests who I hope have enjoyed it all.(Guests: I promise they are not all as strange as I am- at least, it is a statistical improbability)

Fantastic Show Benny!

I really enjoyed your table.

👏👏👏👏👏

And lastly, Nick's post reminded me of this video I hadn't edited from this summer.

I have here a nice Fleischmann 125/4, driving a scratch-built(not me) windmill lakeside on a lovely morning.

Next up, we have a small scale model hit and miss engine. Machined and assembled by Microedge Machine and Tool in Albertville, Alabama (just down the road from me), this small engine is quite well built and tight. It utilizes points and an automotive coil, necessitating a battery box(made from an old Matco coin bank I "won" on the tool truck.).
I have had issues with this engine-mostly what you see in the video. I will soon have to start a separate thread on this and maybe get some help getting it sorted, but here is a taste:
[attachimg=1][attachimg=2]

https://youtu.be/1oTxyRlmaJc

And a couple treasures of mine I lucked out and won at auction...
E. Wall L-head inline 4 gasoline engine casting kit

[attachimg=3]

And a two cylinder E. Wall

[attachimg=4]

I'm almost certain I have 99% of the parts for the 4 cylinder, plus I think most o the 2 cyl cat parts are there also. I have plans for the L head, but haven't found any for the 2 cyl yet.

The log cabin makes a great back drop for the pictures.

I cheated and watched the video earlier when you posted on YouTube. 🤠
Thanks for the kind words, Charlie!

Off to a great first class start Benny - looking forward to seeing your great collection in depth. By the way, how's the outdoor railroad coming or has the weather played havoc with your efforts?

Thanks, Larry- the RR is still in progress, but torrential rain has postponed work. Hopefully this wet, cool (i almsot said freezing, then remembered other forum members live in places that actually get COLD)weather will break soon. I have no problem getting rained on, its the cold breeze i cant handle.

Now, I will present to you this Radiguet Type No. 15 engine. It has been fitted to a nice plinth, and is accompanied by an as-yet-to-be-determined-maker coal fired boiler. While the boiler is fitted completely with Radiguet parts, it does not bear the hallmark and the sizes are incorrect compared to those listed in the catalog scan I have. In addition, there is a water feed tank for the injector pump. The regulator is functional.
 Sadly, this boiler has a loose bung for the blower and the sight glass needs to be sealed so it is not under steam...[attachimg=1][attachimg=3][attachimg=4][attachimg=5]

I had a busy day yesterday. Between fiddling with recalcitrant gasoline engines to cursing video that won't transfer out of my phone, I managed to get a few items up to present.
I planned to save these for the end, but I'm running out of time. So without further ado-

First-
https://youtu.be/G5u1hHhxQoM

This engine was built by the firm Maltete and Parent in Paris. This engine would have been built around 1876-1880, as Maltete left the firm after that and Parent focused mainly on the mechanical toy market. It is in original condition, with the only replacement being the SV weight. [attachimg=1][attachimg=2][attachimg=3][attachimg=4]

Interestingly, I found this scrap of paper, rolled up in the chimney. It states "Patent Motor. Built by Maltete and Parent, 19 Rue Debellyme, Paris(the address on account for the company prior to dissolution).[attachimg=5]
