A great addition Jan.

I recall showing this one to my wife as proof that I was not crazy.....she didn’t buy it. 🤠

BTW: a friend of my wife visited our home for the first time recently, when her friend saw my collection she said, “oh yeah, my Dad was into those miniature steam engines and it’s definitely a cult thing”

In any event, thanks for posting the tour of Jim’s Steam Paradise. 🤠

Regards,
Charlie

A very nice and most fitting idea, having Jim represented in the first GPU  :)

Think the steam room tour is a favourite here as well, so much to look at in that amazing place.
Since that already had been used, i decided to roam through the videos, and found for this much earlier tour, which by comparison reveals quite a bit of change during the last 5 years.

Awesome idea Gil.

You and Nick had some great picks.

A fitting tribute to a great leader in the formation of this Forum. 🤠

What can I say, I would have chosen the tour of Jim's steam room to post. :)
So many items to choose from.

Guess I'll follow up with Jim's shop tour. Sad to think that much of this has been underwater in the recent floods!

Great idea.

Too many favorites to choose from, but I loved his taking on the Empire Multi-Diameter Transmission project.

I recognize those pictures in that first video  ;)

Great idea Gil .... I was of a like mind, but I'm glad to see you've taken the lead here.

Jim is, and has been a steading influence throughout the formation of this Forum .... and we all owe him a great deal.

I was thinking of suggesting that we dedicate this GPU to Mr. Dale for all that he has done, and for all that he has been through!

Think I'll go with his Steam Room Tour:

Greetings all.....

Given that Jim has been navigating through a herculian struggle helping his family, friends, and neighbors in the aftermath of fires and floods, I have taken it upon myself to open a table for Him.

Jim was instrumental in helping our forum get off to a great start a year ago and going forward until the fires commanded his attention. For this I am forever grateful and as a humble thank you, I am launching this table for him.

I am at work right now but will try to add more this evening.

I invite all who would like to pick a couple of your favorite videos from Jim's YouTube channel and post them here perhaps with a comment or two.

Jim's channel:

Thank you in advance,

Gil
