Thanks! It's a nice looking generator.
And very resonable price! You can light the bulb by spinning the pulley wiith your fingers
There is a seller in England selling them also but higher, no mention of extra pulleys and the pound compared to the Euro, go Austrian. Now the the problem is, when he post's them on Ebay, is everyone going to bump heads for them. I'm out for a while, my third one showed up today. I'm putting a video in the Flame licker section if you want to see the generator running that way.

Does he no longer offer them with aluminum ends and pulleys? I have only seen brass lately...

An attractive genny setup, an attractive mod you made to that Tom.

I was just playing with mine yesterday. I like the old look they have to them and your lamp post makes that look even better 8)

I'm sure you have all seen these before. They came from Austria, one on a base with lamp, one to be mounted. Both come with extra pulley's.
I didn't care for his lamp arrangement, plus it didn't work. Lead wire went up through the post and was soldered to the bulb, ground came up under the post and was grounded to the lamp base. Supposedly. I mounted one of my old Lionel lamp posts that I fitted with a push in led, works with a twist of my fingers. One note is, I thought they were going to be smaller. See comparisons.[attach=1][attach=2][attach=3]
