Oh heck ya, I like that alot, I'm quite sure I've never seen one of those before, thanks for posting that for us to see Jan, I love it 😍
-
Tommy, i have no info on these at all, and just assume that they were factory-made, due to the reasons already mentioned.
-
Yes Jan, that is a beauty. Did they offer this in all of their models that year, or just some. Thank's for sharing that with us.
Hey Bruce did you see this one?
-
Those dealer/demonstrator models must be rare birds indeed ..... beautiful plumage!!!
-
Nice one Jan!!

...Could you give us a peek at that D20?
The whistle mounted is the wrong type, and should be identical to the one on your D12.
The original weighted SV/whistle had the whistle itself broken of, so i swapped it for this later style whistle for full functionality.
Sorry for the dust, just shot it as is:

I like that very much. :)

That's a very good looking engine 8) I don't remember seeing one for sale. I wonder if Stefan has one on his website...
-
Thank's Jan, that is interesting to know. Could you give us a peek at that D20?
I'd like to see that as well Jan, pretty please :)
BRUCE! You forgot to say pretty please, with a lump of sugar on top, cut in half with a cherry in the middle. That'll get him.
I don't think we have to go to that extreme Tom , If Jan sees this he'll oblige us , Jan is a very helpful & kind fellow 😉👍

Blingity, bling, bling, nice one Tom , Interesting information Jan 😉👍

Quite certain that D12 is original from Wilesco, and made as a dealer special, to be used as an eye-catcher...or as a special order.
Leaning more towards the first, since several models was made this way, special orders usually is limited to a single model.
I have seen a few over the years with the exact same copper/chrome scheme, and actually own a D20 in that "dress" myself.
-
That is some nice bling!
-
Hey everyone, when I saw the Jensen that Bruce had nickle plated it reminded me of a Wilesco D12 that I picked up all ready done.
I bought about 6 years ago and had it out for the first 9 months. What a pain to keep clean. Mentioned it earlier and Bruce said he
wanted to see it so maybe a few you would too. I hope this much bling doesn't turn into a fad kinda thing. Ooh!
Here's looking at ya.
