I recently ordered some fuel tubing from McMaster-Carr. It was listed as " Soft Tygon PVC tubing for fuels and
Lubricants" stock # 5552k23. It's clear yellow with an ID of 1/8" and OD of 1/4". Well, it seems to be working out
quite well. The original tubing had a tendency to form air bubbles that would cause the engine to sputter when the fuel level would get low but not so with the new tubing. The new tubing is very flexible, and although it took a little effort to get
onto the fuel barbs I do recommend it. Incidentally, I notched the box the engine sits on to allow the tubing to fit better at the mixer end. Just a suggestion for the time you notice your fuel line petrified,leaking at the ends, and filled
with air bubbles.
