Awesome Job Jed.
Thanks for posting the video.

Ok, one more video.
Post as many as you like, that's an engine to be proud of and not often seen 8)
Thanks Nick. Definitely an engine that isn't seen often, but very mesmorizing to watch run at scale speed. Very tiny parts. I love it! The next one will be black. If I live that long!

Very, very nice engine. I've never seen one running.
I like your boiler as well.

very beautiful & mesmerizing, watching the connecting rod going up & down while watching the governor spinning around on top....& then seeing the crank throw doing a round about is just magic, well done Jed. :)

It may have taken three years but you'll have a lifetime of enjoyment. It's a beauty.
-
I recommend this engine for anyone that likes mental torment of small parts! I hope it takes another 3+ yrs to build another.

Beautiful work Jed. I had that same casting kit a few years ago and decided to pass it on to someone brave enough to take such a project on. Your results show your efforts very worthwhile, and your skills ever impro ing.

Doug, I almost bought that kit from you. Glad I didn't. I have one more kit and I think it would take me another 4yrs to complete it.
-
Thanks Bruce! I would like to get a steam test done before I take it all back apart. Hopefully I can do that today.
-
That really runs smooth & sweet Jed.

I know that I had started a build thread on the other site about this engine. Unfortunately, I won't be adding to it there. This has been one on those builds that was started and stopped due to time, experience, and patience. [attachimg=1]
