Did you use a Carswell Kit for the Nickle Plating?
Yes, used one of their "plug-n-plate" kits. I did not use the wand with the gauze. I dip plated instead. I found
heating the solution prior to plating works best.
Yes, heating really helps, I did my plating right on a hot plate from the thrift store.

Nice and complete set up Paul. I like the red black contrast on like the tank and mounting ring and the boiler and ring.

Some plumbing changes.
Added a whistle with selective nickel plating
New PMR #3 engine with selective nickel plating
New draincock arrangement.
