Next up, a rare trio of early 1900s Falk, Marklin and Schoenner Overtype Engines.
Started cleaning them up for their debut yesterday. 🤠

Hey Charlie, that sure is a good running engine and looks nice too. As far as identifying it, I'm thinking it's a made up one from parts of others.
The base and engine assembly are from one. There was something attached to the base in front of the opening of the fire box. There's also
a square opening in the base next to the fire box, maybe a strap from the previous arrangement. Yeah I'm thinking it was made up but who ever
did it, did it well. Good grab on all three engines that this was one of.
Thanks Tommy.
You have a good eye for details.
The engine runs great and it is in very nice condition.
Making the safety valve from an old whistle base was a personal triumph for me. I am new to machining and this was only my second successful machining projects.

I had a nice steam up this afternoon, and posted my first video on my YouTube Channel since March 8, 2020.
I posted some pictures of this engine in a prior thread:

I hope you enjoy the video. I sure enjoyed making it!
