This COVID-19 is nasty. But,I offer some facts you won’t hear in the mainstream media.
This has been an above average year for deaths from the Flu in the US and we still have lost more people to the Flu this Flu Season than to COVID-19.
The difference is we don’t shut down our country and destroy families and our economy because of Flu deaths. We also don’t have daily tallies of Flu deaths on TV every day.
Granted that COVID-19 may be more contagious. But, it is no more deadly to vulnerable populations than the Flu.
The preliminary numbers from the CDC on Flu deaths for the 2019-2020 Flu Season....and these numbers usually go up by 25% after the end of the Flu Season (which is now).

And, note, that approximately half of Americans get the Flu Vaccine every year and the scientists at CDC say the vaccine is only 40% effective this Flu Season. So, the Flu Vaccine only protects about 20% of the population.
Furthermore, the Flu deaths are understated because states are calling any possible death to be caused by COVID-19. Why? Because they are incentivized to do so by the way funds are being allocated to the states BY Washington.
Finally, the silver lining of all this is that even more people in the US would have died from the Flu if we hadn’t had a shutdown, masks, people bathing in hand sanitizer and social distancing.
More will come out on this in the coming years, but certainly not until after the election in November.

If any of you want to keep track of the grim news in the real world, here is the NY Times US map. I've been watching it since the first week of April.
Let it load up, then move your cursor around, fingertip on a dot or circle shows the name and statistics for that county. The information is up dated
every couple of hours, so hang on.
Usually I end a post with the word, Enjoy. There's nothing here to.
