I ordered one too from him.
I just couldn't resist.
Not in a hurry; so, we will see what happens.
Mine finally arrived last week.
It's quite well made.
I have it sitting on my desk.
What does "Vironator" mean?
Like the Terminator but for the virus ;)
May be so. A dictionary said "-ator" means thing that performs the function of the verb.

I would suggest vironator is a virus thumping machine :o ::)
There is a virus software program with that name also a hand sanitiser

Thanks Jan,
The lithographed D15 is one of my favorites.
-
Great movie Bill, they certainly do beat the living daylights out of that virus :)
Love that D15 as well, a rarely seen model, and even more so in your early version there.
-
Haha great video Bill, looks like your home is going to be "virus free" ;)
Thanks nick,Let's hope it stays that way.
Did yours arrive yet?
Yes, mine came a day or two after yours, but I've been busy on my grandma's farm every day, so no chance to play yet...
-
Mine arrived today .
Cheers
Dennis
I'm glad they got these shipped before their summer holidays :)
-
They make a great sound.
I cut some small adhesive backed pads and stuck them on to the hammers so they wouldn't damage the buttons, I think that it has more of a drumming sound because of it.
-
Nice.
Thanks Bruce, I now see what you meant about the buttons shifting.

Bruce, as far as i know they´re not holding a secret agenda, to turn the political scene in any specific direction, merely that surplus food should be eaten, instead of filling dumpsters.
I don´t think there´s any charitable organisation in the world, who does not lobby to strengthen their efficiency when possible?
In this case the intended “virtue” does not match the agenda. The Vironator signals one virtue, but the money collected goes to another agenda not directly related to the the virus.
Tafel Deutschland , at it’s own admission, has been shifting to more “social justice’” activism since they see more of a need to assist and provide food for islamic refugees and “migrants”.
Since St. Paul Steam received a letter of his “donation” to a group that lobbies for political activism, will he be listed as one of their donor/members now?

I got mine today, you'll probably find the button shifted (its magnetic base)....all is good. very light weight & a bit on the flimsy side.
You only bought one?
one was enough. also with this order I found out per enclosed letter that I also was forced to donate Eur 5.00 to a group called Tafel Deutschland, I looked them up & found this...
"In Germany, several tons of food are destroyed every day, even though they are still edible. At the same time, there is a shortage of many people.
The non-profit panels create a balance: they collect surplus, high-quality food and distribute it to the socially and economically disadvantaged.
Tafel Deutschland is the umbrella organization of more than 940 panels. As a service centre, it supports its members and represents its interests towards politics, business and society.
The panels are one of the greatest social-ecological movements of our time. Support us: with voluntary commitment, a donation or an ideal."
I don't think I like the "political" aspect of it.

Have similar issues myself, but the other way around (Stateside -> Europe).
Problem seems to be, that several shippers use passenger airlines, and not dedicated freight flights to haul their goods.
Passenger flights have been more or less completely grounded, besides specific evacuation flights of own citizens, due to Covid-19 lock-downs of passenger airports.
Hopefully we´ll see some relief soon, seing that borders is starting to open again...at least here in northern Europe.

It´s a limited run by Wilesco, during the Covid-19 crisis, where €5 is donated to Tafel Deutschland, a German charity organisation.
https://www.wilesco-shop.de/en/drive-models/virunator-m47.html
Personally i purchased mine from Peter Schaefer, who owns the Ebay store "Peter´s Drehscheibe", since he is my favourite "parts-pusher" when it comes to Wilesco.
Peter generally offers great prices, understand english in writing, and most importantly ships worldwide at very reasonable rates.

I ordered through Peter and agree his worldwide shipping price is very low. I am hoping Wilesco won't let me down and that Peter will get more in stock!
Dear Mr. Severson,
many thanks for your nice order from May 14, 2020! Unfortunately, as usual, we cannot send your wishing "VIRUNATOR" (Art. M 47, special model) immediately! Despite binding confirmation, WILESCO do not send our delivery punctual in/for this week. Backgrund will be, that WILESCO works momentary (since 1st week of April) short-time (Monday-Wednesday/week), therefore there are delays in production and delivery.
Next delivery to us starts on Monday or Tuesday (May 15. or 16.), cause on May 21 was public holiday, we think to get shipments for end next week. After arriving we ship immediately when models will be again on store!
We hope for your understanding, cause momentary nothing runs around as in normal times!! Please note our biggest sorry for this actual bad / not normally situation.
You know that you can trust our service, so we guarantee promptly shipping if we can!
So much as actual info for you.
Thanks for your understanding and stay healthy!!
Kindly regards
PETER`S DREHSCHEIBE
Your Peter Schaefer

Haha thanks for the links Jan, I have one on the way ;D

Yup, fully expect to cash in big time...somewhere around year 2120 (https://emoji.tapatalk-cdn.com/emoji23.png)

Now that's a brilliant way to put a good spin on a global pandemic and bring in funds for a charitable cause, while at the same time creating a unique collectable that will be a sought after antique some hundred years hence!
