I love it. The Apple peeler is a great idea. Something else to search for. 🤠

Very cool! Safer than steam for the little ones as well!

Ditto !
A fun and safe setup, well done Mr. Tom :)

“Step right up, see the giant Steam Hand, only one thin dime, one tenth of a dollar”
If we had a "LIKE" button Mr. Tom...I'd have hit it....lol

My grandchildren like it. They’re too young to “get” steam, but they love to turn the crank and watch everything work!
I think its a terrific idea for the young ones.

Very clever and it would be a fun thing for kids at steam shows.

How do we know the engine isn't powering the giant hand? ;)

Neat.
The extra carnival sideshow of a giant hand operating the rides should pull in the crowds. ::)
-
nice "large" setup Mr. Tom , lots of work there & it looks good.
-
Well that was something a little different.
Cheers

Thanks! The engine is a Weeden 121, an Edgar Side design.
-
Retro-innovative .... I like that a lot!!!

Nice set up, Mr. Tom!
Nice engine, too! Is is an Edgar Side Pioneer?

Just for fun I rigged up an antique apple peeler to run this steam set-up. https://youtu.be/LmkTKrh4xOo
