Great work Doug.

You could irrigate a garden with that pump. 🤠

I found an extra PMR crowned bronze flywheel and installed it on a stuart #7. This engine is a little bigger and more powerfull than the PMR and runs well at half the PSI. It runs quite smoothly and will surely be able to make long runs at engine shows. I did have to go back to the shop to knurl the pump drive pulley. as the belt was slipping a little.

That pump can move some water, Doug. Nice work on the bodged up plans, and getting the job done just right. I have one of these, and am still impressed how much water they will move. I need to get mine piped up. Someone brazed some compression fittings on it though, so far the only pipe I've found to fit it is soft 5/8 nylon hose. And no, 5/8 brass or copper pipe won't fit(too big), nor will 1/2(too small)
Mine came with piping that is 3/4 o.d. copper, which is refrigeration tubing. My local supply house luckily had and adapter to regular 3/4" copper plumbing (watet) pipe.

That's excellent Doug, pumps well and the bucket suits the layout a treat.

I am also liking the high volume of water that thing moves.

Good thinking. I think i might have an extra pmr bronze flywheel out in my spare flywheels drawer.

That sucker really pumps the volume ...... well done Doug!!!

Is there any chance that the PMR engines flywheel would fit on your Stuart #4, as I note that the PMR's flywheel has a crown for flat belt centering, so perhaps that would be a quick and dirty solution for you?!?!

I was very happy to see that this actually pumped water and with no leaks!  I would still like to run it off my Stuart #4, but I will either have to make a new crankshaft long enough for a drive pulley or put a crown on the flywheel.  That will be a project for another day.

Now it's on to my Tiny Power 103 twin cylinder steam engine build.  With no engine shows for most of the summer, I'm going to get quite a few projects done out in the shop.
