The vintage accessories have gotten so expensive, I have been forced to get more creative.
And you don't have to worry about rust or paint flaking on these ;)
So true Nick.
Or glue getting everywhere!

Academy does a great range of interesting models, and your outside the box approach to steam accessories is great inspiration.
Thanks Dave.

It does pump well Charlie, I quite like that.
Thank you Bruce.
I am sure it will be a hit at the shows with the kids.
Of course, I was inspired by your many kit bashes. 🤠

Neat setup Charlie, hopefully future shows make a comeback soon!
I hope so. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I was planning on coming north to escape the heat.
But, that trip may have to wait another year.
Thanks for the feedback.

I like this model, Charlie. It looks like it pumps well, it is attractive, and looks really sharp teamed up with your Score. Thanks for the video!
Ps- pretty awesome the wifey shows interest. Perhaps it might be time to get her into the hobby?
Thanks Benny.
I am going to clean up the plinth and then reassemble.
Another project to combat COVID-19 Isolation. 🤠

Thanks for the feedback SF.
These kits are under $30 on eBay.
I have ordered a couple more.
To be continued....

I bought this kit off of eBay last year. I was bored yesterday and decided to put it together. It is a really well made kit, easy to put together and no glue required.
After putting it together, I decided to see if I could get it to run as a steam accessory. After a number of failed attempts, I came up with a workable design and created a diorama. My score engine already had a belt pulley on it and it fit the old plinth I had in my cabinet.
After running it a few times (my wife actually showed a tiny bit of interest in it), I decided to film the video.
I plan on keeping it assembled this way for future shows. But, I do need to finally finish the pipe work on the Stuart Score.
