Fun accessory Charlie. I've got a 6 YO gs that would have fun with one of those.
A 6 year old can build this kit. No glue. Very good picture directions. The only difficult part is snapping the pieces out of the mold frame (your job).
For $18.00, I thought this was a great kit.
Put together as a cart, a child can push it around the floor.
A little cotton inside the drum will dampen the noise nicely.

Never seen this before, thanks for sharing Charlie :)
Thanks Jan.
It was a fun project.

Haha Love it Charlie! Don't quiet it down ;)
I've got a video to make... similar to your last two... $15 amazon buy...
Thanks Nick.
Looking forward to seeing the video.

Great conversion, I have always been fascinated with the DaVinci machines and inventions.
Thank you for the feedback Dave.
I have a third one coming.
More to come.....

Nice one Charlie .... but I'd sure get in trouble with that one around here. My Lady already thinks that my Solar One Stirling is just a mechanical noisemaker, so I'm sure one of these would just set her off on the needless noise path once again!
My wife thought I had built a bomb in the garage. 🤠
I am working on mounting it on the board with the Steam Engine Pump. And putting cotton inside the drum to quiet it down.

This is an Academy Hobby Model Kit of a mechanical drum as designed by Leonardo DaVinci.
The model may be configured as a push cart or as a stationary drum (the way I assembled it).
These are really well made kits and are very easy to assemble (no glue required).
I added a brass pulley and mounted it on a small wooden plinth. It is being driven by my Stuart No. 8.
