Nice to know that the AG7 Space Pen was aboard on the first manned SpaceX flight to the ISS:

Spectacular!!!

I've never seen some of those colors and only have a couple of them here.

Yes, collecting anything can overwhelm us at times, but at least with these, it is a very usable collection!

I thought that I was the only one that collected Mag-lite's. I gathered up what I could find and put them on the kitchen counter for a "family" photo. There are 52 in the photo, with another dozen or so in various cars and toolboxes. Sort of got out of hand. LOL

It outperforms the three D cell incandescent model, and though I use it quite often it hardly ever wants new batteries.

Daniel, thanks for sharing that rather unique minimag triple AA model. I had heard of them but that is the first time I’ve actually seen one, so thanks for sharing.

I imagine the battery life and lumens is pretty decent on that model. ;D

Howdy Philip

Just thought I'd add one that isn't seen any too often, at least I haven't seen it around much, but it is in fact my most used of the MagLite line, though I do have several others. Mine has the distinction of being in bright anodized blue and natural aluminum silver, rather than the ubiquitous Mag Lite black.

Here then is the somewhat uncommon three cell, LED Mini MagLite AA with belt sheath, along with a more common two cell LED Mini MagLite AAA with pocket clip for scale.

Thanks to Nick's assistance in shipping this over to me, a Fisher CH4 'Shuttle' Space Pen now joins my collection to go alongside my Fisher Bullet and AG7 pens.  ;D

Thanks again Nick!

For some reason the old Six Cell - D still hangs around here  ;)

Wow that is one hefty light Jan!  :o :o
That must go through a lot of batteries!!

Have you got your Fisher Bullet Space Pen yet?

Thank you for providing that Philip!

While I do have several here myself, I certainly can't match the full range of your collection. Nice to see a family portrait laid out like that, with the different branches of the family tree shown.

Thanks Daniel, glad you like my collection, i pretty much run them all off eneloop batteries except for the ones stored away which have energizer lithiums fitted.  ;D

Let there be light.
I for one cannot hold a torch to your collection.

WOW!!!   .....   Where is that forehead slappin' emoji when you need it?!?!

Here is a group photo of my Maglite collection:
(Attachment Link)
The top ones are all my incan models and the bottom ones are my LED models, there are about three lights missing since they are tucked away in vehicles and other places but i have around twelve Mags in total.

Thank you for providing that Philip!

Now that is the full on equivalent of a policeman's baton, and dang near up to the level of a Louisville Slugger!

I'd sure hate to have to keep it "fed" through regular usage however.

I remember shipping a Mag-lite over to you that was only available in the US quite a few years ago now... had some really neat features, like rotating the flashlight would change the beam.

You have a good memory Nick!

It was the Maglite XL200 and i still have that light.  ;D

I actually bought another Maglite this year, the now discontinued ML25IT Incan. It will probably be the last incan torch Mag will ever make and it is basically a C Cell version of the Mini Maglite. It works in candle mode like the smaller torches but is much brighter. It also holds the record for the fastest thing i've ever had shipped from the U.S, i got it in two days!! :o :o ;D

I always had a Mag-lite as a kid and thought it was cool taking them under water swimming. I have to admit that I switched over to the Streamlight Stylus Pro. My two are US made, but unfortunately I believe they are now Chinese made  :-\  They just fit better in my front jeans pocket and are very bright.

Been using Maglites for decades, both professionally and at home.
However, since LED-LENSER entered the arena at work, i must admit that the "old-school" battery-hungry Maglites has seen very little action.

Jan, i only have one LED-LENSER a P3 and i like the spot/flood function on it. However i do prefer my Mags, i run all my smaller ones on Eneloops.  ;)

Never seen that Fisher Bullet before, it looks fantastic !
Immediately ordered one here, since i´ve heard pressurized pens mentioned often when reading up on space-travels, and would love to test one of those out.
I think you will like it!!
I also highly recommend the AG7 Pen as that actually went (and still goes) into space.   ;D

Thanks guys

I'm not a smoker but i do have a small collection of different Zippo lighters, interestingly i just had a gander on their website and i see they have released some new inserts for their classic lighters including a very futuristic electric 'ARC' lighter. I'll certainly have to add those to the collection!, very pleasing that they are still coming out with new innovative stuff.

As for Maglites, i have all of their incan models from the tiny Solitare up to the D Cell model. I've also got some of the newer LED models like the 'MAG-TAC' and LED versions of their classic lights. Again it is great to see them consistently innovating with new products.

I've had my Fisher 'Bullet' Space Pen for over twenty years. I also have the AG7 astronaut model which is reputed to have saved Apollo 11 from being stranded on Moon.  :o

Zippo lighters obviously is quite well represented here, me being a smoker and employed by the Navy, for nearly 3 decades on both accounts.

I have a minor collection of Zippo lighters myself, and use Maglites on a very regular basis, from the Mini-Maglite as you have shown, clear up to the Three Cell - D that is one real handful of flashlight, and readily doubles as a defensive weapon that you can carry in your car without raising an eyebrow.

Somehow, I've missed the "Space Bullet" pen, but it does look sort of special in its own right!

Given that it was independence day yesterday , thought it would be nice to share three U.S design icons i've had in my collection for many years:

Zippo Lighter

Mini Maglite

Fisher 'Bullet' Space Pen

As far as i'm aware all three companies are still going strong and still producing these products.
