Hi Charlie, Yes Wayne made all those tables. He bought up old machinery legs and frames, sandblested them, added brackets, painted them with black epoxy and made the wood table parts. They caught our eye too. They are sturdy, work great, and are perfect for single piece displays, even heavy ones.

Looks like a wonderful mental health trip Gil. 🤠
And this is a Mega Man Cave!
The tables with the black curved legs look perfect.
Did Wayne make these tables?

WOW!! That's a perfect little museum 8) I would love to have the same for my steam toys someday... How fun it would be to invite everyone over for a steam/fire-up in a place like that 8)

I just finished editing the first video from this visit.
This covers one special engine.... A National Gas Engine Type N
For this video I used Mrs RedRyder's S20+ phone which has a terrific camera. I think it did a great job for us. (and I thought my S9 did a good job).
Enjoy,
Gil

Here are a few pictures.
There are propane and hydrogen manifolds piped throughout with manifolds on the walls and pipes set into the heavy concrete floor.

Wayne & Tracy Grenning hosted a truly nice event to celebrate the grand opening of the new Grenning Engine Shed.
This is a new building at behind their home and next to their machine shop.

The founder of our hotel The Lockport Inn & Suites (1968) still drives around in this fine old '59 Cadillac convertible. He and two sons still run the place today. They have executed on a very good guest safety program. After each gust checks out, the room is completely sterilized by sanitizing cleaners, sanitizing fog, ozone, and UV lighting. Then the room remains empty for at least 72 hours before anyone is let in. This policy is even in writing. I believe they also had guests only in every other room at most.
Here's the Caddy:

Mrs RedRyder and I just got home from western New York where we attended a gas engine gathering at Wayne Grenning's home where he held a grand opening for his new building on site just behind and next to his home and machine shop. I had thought he was building a new shop[ but it is actually more like and engine museum. We are a bit exhausted so I will post some pictures tomorrow and a video after editing.
Gil
Sounds like very good news.
Jin
Thanks, Jin.

Out of state. You,ll have to self isolate now. Terrible that you will be stuck at home with all your wonderful toys
No worries.... I have been pretty well self-isolated since early March so now we are just back to our new normal (hopefully not permanent).
-
Can't wait to see the pics, Gil. I'd wager you came home with something, if I were a betting man.
I came home with some great memories and some photo and video documentation of the event, nothing more.... and nothing more needed!
I displayed few nice gas engine models. Mainly got to hang out with some great folks in the antique engine hobby.
Since all of our shows after mid-winter at Kinzers (early February) got the cancel by covid, we did not mind driving over 400 miles each way to attend.
