Another SPS Classic!
Great job Bruce.
The Hits just keep on coming.
What's next?
A more modern #60 EL & a #65 EL with many upgrades 😉👍
Sounds delightful Bruce.
Looking forward to seeing them!

That has to be the cutest little wood-based Jensen I've seen
Thanks Nick, that's what my wife says also. :)

Another fantastic creation Bruce!! ;D ;D
I really like how you have done the steam pipe on this engine, very professional!
Thanks Philip, it was a bit of trial & error ....but in the end it yielded to my wish's ;)

Yet another wonderful SPS "Special Production Steamer" ..... NICE!
I think you should call this one the "Pocket Powerhouse" or some such nomenclature, so as to denote its obvious capabilities in spite of its diminutive size!!!
I like how you think Daniel

Hi Folks
this is a Jensen #60 based plant I just finished with. it started life as sight glass delete Jensen #60, I made (2) brass bushing in the front of the boiler to affix a tube style sight glass assembly (boiler is 2.1/8"x 4.1/8"), then I soldered in a brass sleeve in the lower rear of the boiler & inserted a 300w 110V cartridge style heater. the firebox & chimney stand are both custom made with a brass lug in the chimney stand to hold the chimney steadily in place. the steam engine is now a 1/2" bore dbl acting (from a #70) the steam line was custom bent to fit the boiler. there are (2) ball bearings in the stanchions with a 7 tiered drive pulley in between. the base is 6.5" square & 5/8" thick. a brass tag with the correct information has been affixed. it is powerful & runs well on low voltage. takes approx 3 minutes to come up to steam & will easily run for 45 minutes on 45 volts.
