Yes i think Kontax has a bright future, i recently spoke with them on the phone and they have a few new products in the pipeline. ;)

I like the futuristic appearance of this engine as it looks like it came straight from the set of Flash Gordon or Buck Rodgers!!There is a special added joy when getting a new engine if it actually runs when you first start it up. It never ceases to amaze me how many oriental engines cost plenty good money , arrive broken or defective, then it’s the labor of the new owner to fix the darn things. Not so with those English Kontax, right out-of-the-box and they run great. Run great long time too !
The Ross Yoke linkage is also very nice and i'm pleased to say it runs beautifully.
Ahhh yes, 1929 Buck Rodgers disintegrator gun 25th century retro-futuristic. A nice accessory in the capable hands of adventurous Wilma Deering.

I read that they are made here in one of your previous posts, must look strange to see 'made in England' on something, but i am proud we are.
