That's a very impressive steam plant you have there. Knowing so much about its history makes it something really special. That one ought to last a lifetime or three, and it's already lasted at least one it seems!

Hi steam maniacs - just got this big and heavy Steamplant "1986"
the cylinder was locked - but it could be simply opened and refurbished
and oiled. Heating propan gas. Runs very nice and produces the needed
humidity in my workshop to feel comfortable....
Steamplant "the Biest" made from scratch by Apprentice Workshop of the wold famous company Escher, Wyss & Co. Switzerland - a Leader of turbine and steam engines. The company was purchased in 1969 by Sulzer AG. The heavy Boiler is made from copper - the couplings are Serto. Very heavy and strong engine - drawings by Reishauer.
