I telephoned Robert Olds on Monday in Maryborough (he's the middle of 3 generations of Olds who are engineers) and ended up having a long chat with him, a very interesting man to talk to.

Well done Jim!
 These engines are in a different league to those we are used to.....

I cleaned, oiled, filled the gas tank, and put mine away before last Christmas. Ready for Easter's show.
 Obviously, that didn't happen, due to corvid.....

Dring last Monday's show day, it ran faultlessly for almost 6hrs. Straight out of the box.

Here it is today, awaiting a rub down, and a spot of oil. Ready for Sept 19th, at Papplewick.......

Great purchase Jim!, great that it is Australian made too.

I've been lucky enough to see David's Huxtable Stirling running in person a few times.

Oh Wowee Jim , I think I was nearly as happy as you were  with the un boxing ....and then you fired it up right then....what joy   :) that is one girthy , nice running engine...and straight out of the box !

Cheers guys, as I mentioned in the video I was very happy when I saw this listed on eBay as I have wanted one for a long time.

Its quite a lump of a stirling engine that's for sure!
