My burner is “out for delivery”  :)

Will finally be able to run some 100 year old verticals that I wanted to test on a small flame  ;D

I agree.

The 1” burner would work well for running vertical engines.

The original round one I bought years ago was too tall to fit through most vertical firebox openings.

Hope a US supplier will start selling these soon... Have been wanting a round burner for years that would fit into my verticals
