That’s a tough way to get wrinkles out of your clothes Lenn.

And the finger prints in the paint give it character. 🤠

Nice work, Lenn. I got Simone a little kerosene parlor stove that is set up with 2 sad irons (one handle).
I will look for a picture when I get a chance.

Naw it was before it was hot thank goodness..
I have a sad iron that has a lift gate in the end that ya put a slug in that`s pre- heated that should be cool.

Wow...I didn't pick up on them being fingerprints but now they are blinking as them....bet that was an ouch moment!

Got one of those somewhere as well Lenn, I think the idea was to be using one and have one heating on the stove and interchange them to the wooden handle.
Much like changing batteries now on a portable tool :)

I had the lower part for years but missing the top so we made one.
