These are powerful little engines. I have a horizontal model with the boiler coupler and propeller. I just might have to buy a boat to put it in, and try it out in our pond!

These tiny steam-powered engines from the 1960's are all rather rare, but this tiniest version of their vertical engine has been an illusive one, until this recently showed up on Ebay. It is original in the box, NOS. At only two inches tall, it is a tiny, but powerful boat engine. Probably the rarest of these is a tiny V-twin, and there are also two twin horizontal models, of which I have the larger, but not the smaller, version. I only know of one of the V-twins, and unfortunately, it is not in my collection! But I was very happy to add this small vertical. Even though it was new in the box and unsteamed, I felt the need to steam it immediately.
