My friends all think I play with 'trains' I don't own a single train :)
Wife had her sister and brother-in-law over one night, they were joking about my Mamod train... couple hours later and a few beers in him, he started asking about it... next thing I know I’ve got it fired up and he’s down eye level with it, happy as a little kid :D
Same as anti gun people, take them out for a shoot, finally get them to have a go after much refusing......then you can't get your gun back off them and they burn through all your ammo and then ask "When can we do this again"? ;D

My friends/family give me crap about my “choochoo’s” and my toys, but whenever they see a Doll/Fleischmann accessory with the little man and the handle on the pulley, they’re always over there cranking it over to see what it does :D
I believe I have 6 or 7 variations of the sausage maker from both Doll and Fleischmann, the rest came with other purchases.

Really like that lever for adjusting the tank/flame.
I’m not really a fan of the sausage maker though... so I’ve kept the collection down to about a dozen of them...
Its a good system (the flame adjuster) it doesn't work as effectively as the same system does on the very elegant and finely made German vacuum engines that you see on YT.
There's still a fair few rough spots that need work to make this engine run a bit smoother.
All none steamers when they see my steam accessories, they always like the sausage maker the most.
They used to come up fairly regularly for sale, now I know why they don't anymore.....you've hoarded them all ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
