Dandy engine. Had I but cash enough and time....

Yeah, Bruce.
It got me, that’s for sure. Only a couple of months ago I went on a hunt for inline fours. I drooled over some made from casting kits back in the 1930s, side valve boat motors, etc. but found nothing even modestly close to the real world outside of southeby’s. Then this critter appeared. It’s certainly knocked a hole in my toy budget for the foreseeable future, but I can see it with a tractor style stack muffler, mounted in a timber frame, driving a back country style sawmill using a big drum style tractor clutch..... it ought to have enough snot to drive a thin kerf table saw blade right along I would think.

I watched a good portion of that video....neat as can be :)

Haven’t got it yet. But this is the critter, only the gold/yellow version

Went and took a dive off the big board this morning. Ordered up a 32CC in-line four cylinder, ohv, water cooled, gasoline powered engine, and the electric start option. The sizzling sound in the background is my Visa card. Lol.
I ordered the yellow version, with a vague notion of building a mini sawmill to put it to work.
