The M91's rather "liberalized" H & M engine interpretation with unusual fully enclosed crankcase & brass radiator features lends itself to "anything goes" design flairs....Spliced HV spark wire extension or elevated, wood boxed-in ignition module would allow unlimited compatible artistic configurations......tom

The wiring limitations led me to do the split box on my M91 mount. I stashed the cdi under the engine base, with the battery box adjacent to it, with the cable to the cdi in a pass through between them.

Thanks Nick, each got three coats of spray enamel.
I did this with the thought of it being a stopgap measure to get away from the ubiquitous 'Domino Box' look, but I have looked at ways of making a more substantial and better mount for many hours and come up with some ideas, but the short HT lead always circumvents any really flair in design.

That should keep the oil stains away, do you still plan to mount any of them differently?

Painted the bases of the H&M engines. A bigger job than I thought initially taking these apart.
A hint if you take one of these engines apart. When you have stripped it down, the screw holding the Hall Sensor (that fires the spark) is held on with a screw that is 6.5mm long, do yourself a huge favour and put it in a vice and file it down to 6.00mm and it will make your life so much happier when re-installing the Hall Sensor.
