Very cool Doug.
Looking forward to seeing it working.

They are in-14 tubes. I bought a kit on ebay that came with used tubes. Kit was @$70. Hardest part was getting the leads on the used tubes straightened out and onto the board. If i can find the link, i will share it.
I remember having radios with the "magic eye" tuning. I think we,re telling our age!

Very nice. I have looked at getting one myself, but have never gotten around to it. Years ago I had a multimeter that used nixie tubes, long gone now. Anything with nixie or magic eye tubes always seemed a little special. Are those IN-14 tubes?
I might have to get one for myself. Whose kit is that, or where did you buy it?

While still unable to use the machine shop after shoulder surgery, I have had to find some other past times. I always wanted a Nixie tube clock. I remember Nixie tubes from my early days at vo-tech in high school. This came as a kit and has taken several evenings to assemble. The kit was missing one transistor, which I am waiting for its arrival. As soon as the last part arrives, I will power it up, and if all works as it should, I will post a video of it. My next project is already on its way, a small digital alarm clock, which I really don't need, but I can build it without two good arms!
