I remember back before the internet, there was a funny commercial on tv as a public service to make people aware of the law...in the commercial a package arrives at an igloo and the Eskimo looks puzzled to receive such a package....he takes it inside and opens to find an Ocillating fan and trys it out and says Ooooh when he feels the breeze!
The commercial goes on to tell you that if you get something in the mail you did not order, you may legally consider it a free gift!
Apparently scammers where trying to ship random things to people then demand payment or threaten to ruin your credit if no pay....the commercial was quite effective so the criminals would be throwing there money away if the public was aware of this law.
Evil is not new...just takes on different appearances!

I got my money back on all 3 orders the following day thanks to enlisting PayPal's help by phone and on line.

Fast forward and I received 2 of the cheapo flame lickers even after the refund. A couple weeks later they sent a note asking me to pay for what I received because they had proof of delivery.

First of all, I believe the law states that if I am mailed something I didn't order, I am not required to pay for it or return it. I may send them a note advising this but I am not certain I even need to do that.

Under normal circumstances I would reach out to the seller, advise of the error, pay for what they sent me or return it to them at their expense.

Normal circumstances:  I describe as....  Seller makes an honest mistake and sends the wrong item and would like to send the right item and fix it. If this were the case I would return the items immediately and the seller would ship what I ordered.

These are clearly not normal circumstances. This outfit can't even package their crap substitutes properly. There were no instructions in either package. No alcohol lamp burner in one package and 3 of them in the other package. Jim received an identical engine with a half dozen Allen wrenches and no burner.

I also couldn't resist the really low prices on their engines, and knowing that it was too good to be true, ordered a half dozen of them anyway. I got shipping/tracking info so looked slightly hopeful. Got my first shipment; was a cheap substitute. Same with the rest of the shipments. I filed a complaint against them with PayPal, and eventually got all my money back. Go PayPal!

So you ended up with 6 “free” engines  ;D

Gil, I appreciate you digging into this and I sure hope you and others recover your money.  I came very close to ordering from Enginelovers on several occasions but fortunately I never pulled the trigger.  I haven't posted about this on any other websites but I have two friends that I need to advise immediately.

On another subject, I see you and others refer to Jin.  Who is that (again, pardon my ignorance).

And finally, I received my Eachine ET7 today.....can't wait to fire it up.

I'm new to the forum so excuse me if this has already been discussed.  I did a search for the subject but didn't find anything.  There is a website called Enginelover.com and their prices on many items are incredibly low compared to Banggood and others.  For example, some hit and miss engines are $99 at Enginelover and the same engine is $300-$350 at Banggood.  Sounds to good to be true.  Any info will be appreciated.

Welcome aboard, Cosmo.

It is too good to be true. I found this out after placing an order.
If you have shared this website anywhere else, please advise accordingly.

They are scammers as confirmed by Jin.

They score the absolute lowest on websites that give scam potential ratings.

Again, a big Welcome from Connecticut!

I believe this is a scam and I am filing a dispute with PayPal.

I reached out to Jin this morning.

Here is my inquiry and his reply:

Hi, this is a scammer's website, please don't believe them.

Fraudulent website.

Offers big discounts, then ships random valueless item. Demands return of item to China for a Paypal refund.

I just bought two H&M engines for $99.00 each and $9.99 postage.

Paid using PayPal. Delivery 10-14 days.

There's a lot of great bargains on that site, a lot of Bohm knockoffs as well.

Hopefully I won't be making a post in this section of the forum -

Like over pricing on shipping and handling, if they even ship it.

I wouldn’t trust buying a $300 engine for $99... as you say, sounds too good to be true...
