Yes I have to get one.
-
Jim, you used that Peanut Rider to run a Empire pump and then a Jensen work shop.
I might have to get one too if it puts out that kind of power.
Easily ran these Tommy -

I remember looking into these Peanut Riders 10+ years ago... maybe I need to pull the trigger...
:D :D :D
PM has them at $185 and in stock.
Penn Tool Co. $169.95.
I think Mini Steam was $142.
Already done... :D
THANKS A LOT JIM :D
You'll love it and another avenue of collecting.....exactly what you need Nick :)

Two good ideas that seem to work, adding drag to the mechanics or restricting the pump.
Beats dragging your finger on the wheel until it gets hot, my version. ;D

I like this one...a beam engine and pumps water...$299 at ministeam, did they ever offer this model as a "kit"?
Nope...
As far as i know, the only Solar engines offered as a kit while Pm Research has owned the brand, would be the Solar #13 "Thinking Man´s Engine Kit", and the Solar#15 "The Glassworks Unmachined Kit".
As far as the Solar #12 Rider Ericsson goes, both John and Bruce has made some very nice modding efforts to slow these down, to a way more realistic speed:

The Well Guy is seen far less than the Sausage Maker

Yeah for everyone else. Don't tell me there's a run on sausage makers now.

Very nice! Ministeam is really barren of stock, they use to have the Peanut Rider at a good price.
Their Wilesco offerings are only a few now, as are many other brands. Hope they're not winding down.
I tried to buy a PM #12 listed, but OOS. I was able to find a used one at $225 , received it in box all accessories
and looked brand new! Runs great, pumps water.
Surprised that Ministeam is so much cheaper than buying direct from PMR... Any idea what they had the Peanut Rider for?
