Nice to have you back Calypso!
Hopefully, more great videos to come. 🤠

You can use that out in the woods John, it's camouflaged.
-
Well, that´s even cooler than expected.
Very rare to see the large JC engines 8)

Turns out it is a French Jean Comby,[attachimg=2][attachimg=1]

That's definitely a keeper. When you go back to show the water pump, the tile pattern on the base is
very visible. I can't remember seeing that pattern before. Someone else with more knowledge of these
might use that for a better ID.

As other have said, nice to see you posting a vid John.
That first burner ..... it did look a bit dangerous!
-
So good to have you posting again John :)
Your channel has always been one of my favourites on YouTube, so i´ve been missing your updates.
Sure is a nice old engine there...
I´m not very knowledgeable, when it comes to old German steam toys, but certainly would be great to get a firm ID.
Nomatter if it´s original or not, it would make it much easier to hunt down parts, if everything on there are properly identified.

Very nice Calypso , you got it running very well toward the end.
Good to see you posting videos again.

Nice to be back. I'd forgotten how rewarding messing about with old engines could be.
