From the little correspondence I've had with Karsten Gintschel he indicated that would be having more copies of his acessories available in 3-4 months so he must be working on steam items to some degree.

I have no doubt you did Carl...

I solely keep tab on prices displayed on the official website, when i feel it is necessary for an update of "The Library" here.

This is a screenshot of the Jensen website on May 20th. 2013, so must have seen an increase between Jan. and May 2013:

I found the bill and I had ordered the 95G on November 26, 2012. The 95G was not shipped until January 3, 2013
so the could have gone up the first of the year.

Hope they do...

If it solely is the turbines that are missing in the equation, i guess it all comes down Gintschel, and whether or not he is willing to take on another order.
Been a while since i last communicated with him, but he did re-arrange his life significantly after the Wilesco adventure, and mentioned that steam for the foreseeable future would be taking a backseat.
That said, he has listed quite a few items on Ebay lately, so fingers crossed that he has changed his mind on that statement.

Anyone know if the 95-G will ever return to the Jensen line?

I put a copy of the Jensen 95G Operating Instructions in
Members File Sharing section.

I just seen that, Thank You very much Carl. Still hoping the seller will find his box/instructions, but your copy will do if he doesn't  :)

Well bought, Nick. With your penchant for impromptu road trips, you must be singlehandedly keeping Red Bull in the black.
Looking forward to the video.

:D Haha, yes a few cans of Red Bull were consumed on this trip  :D

You did extremely well on that one Nick, congrats !

I paid $535 for mine (mint condition with box/accessories) back in March 2013, and considered myself very lucky, since so very few secondhand examples was/is listed.

Additional nerd-info from the "Jensen Geekopedia" here:

When introduced in late 2005, the Jensen 95 was priced at $649.98.
Back in 2013 where i bought mine, they were listed at $745.95.
Final price until it was removed from the website was set at $772.95.

I got a Jensen 95G in Jan 2013 for $728.95

Dang...

Years between one of these comes up for sale, and when one finally does, it is poorly listed...and i miss it completely (https://emoji.tapatalk-cdn.com/emoji27.png)

It was only there for a few minutes and I can't remember if it was $500 or $700 and maybe I offered $500?

Completely missed that one (https://emoji.tapatalk-cdn.com/emoji32.png)

Do you have a link Nick?

Just been searching and cannot find it. I don't think it had Jensen in the ebay title...

I think it had a "make offer" option and I made the mistake of trying that instead of just clicking the BIN

You would have to add about $60 to the $400 for shipping, since the trip took a tank of gas there and a tank back, but did give us an excuse for a mini-vacation.

And thank you for the "nerd-info" I was wondering what Jensen had priced them at... I thought it was still on the website, and marked un-available, but I see it is no longer there.

There was one on ebay recently with a BIN, can't remember if it was around the $500 mark, but I hesitated and it was gone all too fast.

With some recent Jensen ebay prices, I do wonder what one would bring today... but I am not going to put mine on there to find out  :D

Well worth the drive Nick.  A lovely example of a #95 G.

For some reason I always thought you already had this model.

I have wanted one for YEARS, and was always going to buy one new, but ebay continuously cancelled those plans... and currently they are unavailable.

This one came up at $500 last Wednesday, then on Thursday I could no longer find the ad so I figured it had sold. Friday it was there again, now reduced to $400. The best part was it was located in McHenry, the same town that my grandpa's sister lives in (just a little ways outside of Chicago), so we had a place to spend the night.

While talking to the guy at Walmart, he told me he knew exactly where I was from. Turns out he is a truck driver and has delivered to our local "Dollar General" a few times in the past and has driven right past my house. And a few weeks ago when we were stranded for two days in a hotel during a snowstorm, he was also stranded just 15 miles away. Was a very nice guy, who mainly flies large model airplanes. He bought the 95G new a couple years ago and has only fired it up 2 or 3 times. Hoping he will come across the box and instructions someday...

I already knew it was worth it, any engine is worth a good drive  ;)  Just had to show my new toy  ;D

Anyway, midnight now and just made it back from a mini-vacation in Chicago, report soon and a video of the engine...

I only drove an hour for mine- i picked it up at Jensen personally. but I still might have driven 5 hrs if you can't buy them new. This particular engine needs a bigger boiler IMHO, but still fun for a short run.
Congrats.

Could be run off of a 50
