Hi Doug, A great big WELCOME ABOARD....!!!
Doug, your videos are great.
The quality is absolutely outstanding...!!!

A very well made video to close out your table Doug.
Thank you again for joining in for GPU 2021.

Hello Doug and a very warm welcome to the forum from the South Coast of New South Wales Australia.
Thanks for taking part in the second Global Power Up and presenting a great table for all of us to view.

Doug, I like your Wilesco D141 video, and I have one
and not as good a video. I shot my video 10 years ago
with a Flip camera. What type of camera are you using
to get those great close-ups? My D141 that I bought
in 1986 still had the holes for the M66 Generator and
I added one to my D141.
Thank you Carl! I just used my old iPhone 8 and tried to pay attention to focus and light. I ran across this D141 as "new without box" last spring and the Virtual Engine Show spurred me to fire it.

Thank you, once again, everyone for such a warm welcome, and all the kind words about my table. The quality and breadth of collections and expertise here is incredible. What a nice group of folks!

For my last display, I threw together a little board with my two MAMOD drive models, and a cute little MM2. Well, the little guy lost his flywheel/pulley so the big brother SP4 had to step in. You may also notice my Jensen 60 and 65 in the background. I definitely have a soft spot for the Pennsylvania company!

Yes Doug ... that really did go well .... and looked to be good fun too!
I've often thought about getting a Wilesco D141, and once again find myself wondering why I do not have one here yet?!?!
Seems a near perfect set-up, just as it comes from the factory!!!
-
Thanks for letting us enjoy the first steaming of that Wilesco workshop with you ;D
-
A very nice first run of that D141 Werkstatt, and it´ll just be better and better by each run, as everything gets worn in and smoothened up even further.
I really like your style of filming Doug, with clear closeups of all the details.
Well done, and thanks for sharing!
Agree Jan. A very nice job with the filming Doug.

Thanks for joining us Doug , a great first start, the Wilesco traction engines along with the D141 are a "best buy" Imho. Just such lovely & reliable runners, and of course your Jensen is a workhorse that'll last through your Grandchildren with a bit of care.

I'll bet they are fun. You picked a good time to come and play.
It's like, The Adults are Gone All Weekend. Ha!, Ha!, Ha!.

As promised, here’s a short video of today’s first firing of my Wilesco D141 Workshop. First time I’ve ever seen one in action. Quite fun!

Thank you for the warm welcomes! I'm really enjoying the virtual show, and digging through the old posts.
Classixs, Yes, that is the burner from Serbia. They've made improvements to the hose/connection since I purchased this one. I let this one cool completely before refiring.

welcome Doug , and an impressive start

What a nice table here Doug, love those clear details and closeups.
Is that one of those gasburners from Serbia, i see listed on Ebay most of the time?
Will be looking forward to see the D141 in action as well :)

Thanks for participating in GPU 2021!
And welcome to the Forum.
We are glad to have you.

Here is a little video combing footage from the first and second firing of a new-production Jensen 75 last summer. I’m thinking about building a much bigger “shop” for it to run, as it is definitely under-worked here!

Certainly a wonderful opening Doug .... glad you could join us.
Sounds like you truly have Steam in your Bloodlines, and as such I do hope you will be with us here for a long time to come!!!

Hi Doug, Welcome from MN :)
You picked a great day to join the forum! Great video, really enjoyed all the close-up shots 8)

Hello! This is my first day on the forum. I saw a notice for the online steam show on Facebook awhile back, and made it point to visit. Already very impressive displays are up.
My grandfather was a steam engineer and ran a threshing circuit in central Illinois, USA, at the turn of the 20th century. He instilled a love for steam in his sons, and that eventually rubbed off on me. Never a serious hobbiest, nor a machinist, I still enjoy running and tinkering with the models, and seeing them do actual work.
I hope you will enjoy this first video of a Wilesco D40 traction engine running a few Wilesco Worker drive models. I have a Wilesco D141 Workshop I plan to first-fire and video later today, as well.
Thank you and best wishes,
Doug in Kansas City
