Hi Scott, This is a terrific display table...!!!
I really like the hit and miss steam/air engine!
Gil
-
Wow.....what a terrific table this was to view.
-
Thanks,everyone!
I enjoy building these engines. Like any hobby that holds your interest, it keeps my mind off the BS of life.
I have a South Bend heavy 10 lathe, an RF-30 mill-drill with a DRO and some other modifications, and a 6 inch Craftsman lathe.
I also have lots of tooling and accessories from years of auctions and online sales.
I also have access to a complete machine shop at work.

It always amazes me how some guys can take a block of metal, take off everything that doesn't
look like an engine, and end up with an engine, Beautiful work.
-
Scott, you build some nice-looking machines.
-
Beautiful work. Very fun to watch.
-
The 1/4 scale Gade was my favorite and I love the sound of the Jan Ridders
-
Nice table full of engines there Scott , I also have an old South Bend lathe that see's constant use.
Thanks so much for joining us & displaying your wonderful engines.
-
Certainly an amazing table full of fun creations you have provided for us here Scott ... Thank you for sharing all of your nice work with us here!
-
Thanks!
Yes, I did build everything.
The Lathe is a 1943 South Bend Heavy 10. I use it almost every day, and it still works great!
Scott
I thought it was a Southbend, but I am no expert.
I am a mechanic. You are a machinist. 🤠
Do you have a Mill too?
Look forward to connecting with you at Cabin Fever 2022.
I suspect your table at Cabin Fever is in one of my Cabin Fever videos.

Wow Scott. Very nice Table you have.
I think you built all of them.
Nice work!
The Parcel & Weed vertical looks like a challenging project.
Nice beefy lathe in the background. Who is the Maker?
And, some nice music playing in the video. 🤠
