Looks to be in great shape and with terrific sentimental significance Rog. My first engine
Was a 1970's Mamod SW1 which is sadly no more. However, I did find an identical replacement recently.
It's wonderful that you still have your first engine. I, however, was a careless, destructive child and few if any of my childhood treasures remain. >:(

Great to see you still having fun with the engine that started it all Rog!, i have to say you have looked after it very well.
I ran my Wilesco Old Smokey Roller not so long ago which was my first engine bought in 2003 and very special to me, still runs great despite a bit of dezinc on the boiler.

Looks terrific Rog, how fantastic to have it still after all these years, a very very special engine.

I enjoyed that video alot, my friend.
Even if monitary value may be moderate; that engine must be worth a million in affectional value :-)
How long time from your initial introduction to modelsteam until you got your second model; and which was that ?
:-)
Ola, having gotten that engine in 1961, I played with it for a few years, then teen years came along and engine went on a shelf until late 2002 when I re-discovered steam.
Bought my second engine in early 2003...a Jensen 25. So more than 40 years from first to second engine...but I made up for that lapse with more than 100 additional engines over the next 15 years. Now I am down to 26 total and they are very dear to me and far more manageable.

It's great you still have your first one. I have my first, Wilesco D10, but I ran it to near death.

You must have been a better kid than me Rog, I've got nothing from my childhood, I was too destructive, different now though. Lovely engine.....Allan. :)

So great to see another new steam video from you Rog! ;D

That's great Rog that you still have it and in such good condition - anything I had at ten has been destroyed for over 64 years (yes, I'm 74)! :)

They are great little engines Rog. Top banana

This engine, it's box, funnel, fuel tray and stack have all been with me now for 58 years (yes, I am 68). Just to show that I have finally figured out how to directly load video from an iphone 6 to YouTube...here is a recent quick video of my Fleischmann 122/3:
