Fine work there Jan , and you have the generator as a spare that can be run by any (most any) steam engine.

Good idea Jan, I did this to a couple of my Jensen's as well.

After packing up the little Wilesco D16 for storage, i "needed" another around the clock workhorse, whenever an idea hits the head.
Unfortunately i am somewhat impaired, when it comes to space in the living quarters, and only have a couple of specified shelves for my "weird stuff".
Couldn´t get my favourite go-to engine to fit on those, as they´re relatively small (to say the least, but she doesn´t seem to respond to my nudging), so had to figure out a way to get it on there.

A bit of woodwork, and voila...smaller footprint than a little Märklin 4095/5 8)

Really shouldn´t complain though, as i am pretty spoiled with space elsewhere on the properties.
But what does that help, when i sit here talking with you guys...i need my test set-up close by ;D
