I believe it is made with Bischoff/Rehse Parts. Never have seen
the support of the piston rod guide. Factory made engines were
mostly nickel-plated. The vertical Boiler was also available in
the Bischoff Catalogue. I would say it is a unique piece made
with Bischoff parts - complete steam plants were very expensive at the time!

I think it is very Bischoff-like or possibly made from many Bischoff components. I have photos from a couple catalogs and they don't show exactly this engine although the flywheel, crankshaft bearing supports, and valve handles all appear to be Bischoff. But these catalogs (or illustrated pricelists) show few steam engines and no vertical boilers. But in those days you could also build your own using their components. Maybe someone else will have a catalog showing the vertical boiler. the spring-loaded safety valve looks Marklin while the weighted safety looks like those on Falk or Schoenner engines. Hard to say definitively it's Bischoff without more information and I suppose all the Bischoff experts are in Germany.

I won this engine in an auction many, many years ago. It has never been properly identified, although someone told me they thought it may be a Bischoff of Dresden.
Since a few of you have referenced Bischoff catalogs, I wonder if you could look to see if any thing similar pops up.
For reference, the engine itself is roughly 12" long with a 6" flywheel. The boiler is 24" from the base board to the top of the stack. It has a single fire tube up the middle and I do not have a burner that fits. The original color is brown like many Bischoffs. I could find no evidence of the wbd markings I have seen on other Bischoffs.

The Crosshead supporting the cylinder and the tiny Valve chest are fairly distinctive. The crank supports are very Bischoff design.
There was a cylinder lubricator mounted on the cylinder but it was broke off (but included, I found it in the boiler fire box). There was no piping from the boiler to the engine.
Any identification would be appreciated.
Also, Any Bischoff catalogs available as a download or PDF file?
