That's A tough choice Howard ,both equally have they're own set of specific features , the D222 being a self starter and a bit smother and possibly slower in operation , the D242 being noticeably larger and your classic long stroke single cylinder (bigger bore) I'm not going to be much help because on any given day I could choose one over the other (just buy both) 😀

Seeking out opinions on the performance of Wilesco D22 or D24. Both I would perfer 110 volt setup and both are costly.
However I feel that D22 holds a little more in FEATURERS than 24.
I would love to hear the insights before I order.
