It was my pleasure. Will do on the Heinrici photos and video--I'm overdue to make a few more videos. Thanks,
Brent

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
This all happened during my post-vaccine Road Trip.
I drove through Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
I had stops in Vicksburg, Mississippi; Alexander City, Alabama; Huntsville, Alabama; Nashville, Tennessee; Lexington, Kentucky; Memphis, Tennessee and Russellville, Arkansas.
Approximately 2700 miles in 8 days.
Getting out of the house and on the road really raised my spirits, and the bonus was that I brought home two phenomenal engines to add to my collection.
Happy Easter!

Thanks for the video Charlie. Somehow those engines look vaguely familiar. I would have never sold the hot air engine except for the miracle of a duplicate coming my way. A lot of work went into it since Gil owned it.
Brent
Thanks Brent.
It was definitely worth the drive from Texas to Kentucky. 🤠
Thank you for your hospitality and giving me the opportunity to buy the Marklin Hot Air Engine.
I hope you will post pictures/video of the engine that I delivered to you.

Superb additions Charlie.

Here is your Marklin 4102 hot air engine before I turned it over to Brent who gave it a very thoughtful restoration.
At the very beginning of this video, it actually self started!
I was quite surprised and I never saw it do that again.... much as I may have tried for a repeat performance.

Every single one such impressive plants...
Well done Charlie, very well done!
Thank you Jan.
I am hoping Gil will provide the history of the three engines that have passed through his hands. They are all three excellent stories.

Charlie .... of course you have the room needed to add more big Marklin engines .... you simply need to send a bunch of your other engines to me and then you'll have plenty of room! ;c)
Superb additions to your super fine collection Charlie ..... Major Congratulations!!!

Thanks Nick and Bruce.
I never thought I would end up with all four of these.
And impressive that Gil owned three of the four at one time.
Now I need to build (have built) a proper cabinet for the four of them.
The hot air engine was also owned by Gil at one time.
I guess all roads lead through Gil when it comes to rare Toy Steam Engines. 🤠
;D ;D ;D
I don't know if it will ever happen again..... Your Marklin Stirling Cycle Engine actually self-started one time only!

I am very excited to have added two rare Marklin engines to my collection.
I now have four of the largest Marklin Engines....and I don’t have room for any more. 🤠
